Outpatient Imaging Center at Hendersonville Medical Center

Hendersonville Medical Center designed an Outpatient Imaging Center exclusively for the comfort and convenience of patients in 2004. This new location features plush surroundings in a more convenient setting on the hospital campus.

The Imaging Center offers a number of benefits for patients and physicians. Some of them include:

• extended operating hours and flexible appointment times
• quicker patient registration and imaging services in an hour or less
• lab work completed in conjunction with patient procedures
• films read on-site by radiologists, allowing for quicker turnaround time of results
• results promptly faxed to physician offices following interpretation.

At Hendersonville Medical Center, board-certified radiologists, technologists and sonographers are committed to
providing patients with quality and compassionate healthcare. Our hours are Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Portland Diagnostic Center

Advanced. Accomodating. Accurate.

That’s the order of business at Portland Diagnostic Center. Located at 105 Redbud Drive in Portland, Portland Diagnostic Center offers a full complement of laboratory services Monday through Friday from 7am – 6pm. Imaging tests, including CT scans, MRI, mammography, holter monitors, radiology, bone density and ultrasounds,  are also performed at Portland Diagnostic Center Monday through Friday, 8am -5pm. Images will accessed and read via the hospital’s Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) which allows x ray images to be digitally transmitted to the hospital radiologists so they can be interpreted hours after the scan are done.  Test results will be available to the patient’s physician much more quickly, often on the same day.
